GB/T 45641-2025 is the English-translated version of 开士哥拉毛.

GB/T 45641-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the fibre from a cross between an Angora and a cashmere goat — the split between washed and combed cashgora, the mean fibre diameter and its distribution measured by projection microscope or optical analyser, the whiteness and colour, the moisture regain, the ethanol extract, ash and vegetable matter left after scouring, the dark fibres and foreign matter that cost most in a pale yarn, and the packing, marking, storage and transport. It takes its terms from the cashmere standard GB 18267 and then sets cashgora apart from it. First edition, in force from 1 December 2025. Issued on 30 May 2025, it has been in force since 1 December 2025.

1 Scope

This document defines the terminology and classification of Cashmere wool and specifies the technical requirements, sample preparation, inspection rules, packaging It covers packaging, labeling, storage and transportation, and describes the inspection methods.

This document applies to the trade, processing, use and quality assessment of Cashmere wool.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB 18267 and the following apply to this document.

3.1

The hair is taken from a cross between Angora goats and Cashmere goats.

Note. Cashmere wool is mainly divided into washed cashmere wool and combed cashmere wool according to different primary processing procedures.

Cashmere wool that has been washed to a certain quality requirement.

3.3

Cashmere wool that has been washed and industrially combed.

3.4 foreign matter

Non-fibrous material attached to cashmere wool.

Note. Non-fibrous materials include dirt, dander, grass clippings, etc.
