Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 7671:2003 "Polypropylene (PP) plastics piping systems for sewage and wastewater (high and low temperature) in buildings".

Compared with ISO 7671:2003, this document has many structural adjustments. Comparison table of structural number changes between the two documents See Appendix A. This document has many technical differences compared to ISO 7671:2003.

A summary of these technical differences and their causes is given in Appendix B. The following editorial changes were made to this document.

--- In order to coordinate with the existing standards, the name of the standard is changed to "Polypropylene (PP) Piping System for Building Drainage and Sewage";

--- Deleted Appendix A "Additional properties of PP pipes and fittings" of ISO 7671:2003.

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and connection methods, materials, appearance, color, specifications and sizes of polypropylene (PP) pipe systems for building drainage and sewage treatment.

It describes the requirements of size and physical and mechanical properties, system applicability, etc., describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates the inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage. Stored content.

This document is applicable to drainage and sewage treatment in buildings and building materials made of polypropylene (PP) resin as the main raw material, which are extruded or injection molded.

Polypropylene pipes and fittings for underground drainage and sewage disposal in buildings (hereinafter referred to as "pipes" and "fittings").

This document also applies to polypropylene pipes and fittings for industrial drainage and sewage that meet the requirements of chemical resistance and heat resistance.
