GB/T 44705-2024 is the Chinese national standard covering the yard where an atmospheric road tanker is cleaned before it takes on a different liquid dangerous good — the organisation, personnel, site and equipment, the confirmation of the medium last carried, the pretreatment, steam-out, ventilation, washing and drying sequence with the quality check that closes it, the protective equipment and the confined-space work ticket, and the residues that give off toxic gas when they meet water. First edition, in force from 1 May 2025. Issued on 26 October 2024, it has been in force since 1 May 2025.

1 Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, operations, safety and environmental protection requirements for tank cleaning of road tank vehicles transporting liquid dangerous goods.

This document is applicable to the cleaning of tanks of normal pressure tank vehicles for road transport of liquid dangerous goods and the cleaning of tanks of other goods by relevant cleaning agencies. Can be used for reference.
