Introduction

Zhuang brocade is known as one of China's "Four Famous Brocades" along with Yunjin, Shujin and Songjin. It is the only ethnic minority brocade among the "Four Famous Brocades".

The brocade weaving skills of the ethnic group began in the Han Dynasty, matured in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In 2006, it was listed in the first batch of "national intangible cultural heritage" in China. Cultural Heritage List".

Zhuang brocade is the crystallization of Zhuang culture and a typical representative. It has a long history, rich colors, profound connotations, and is full of local and ethnic characteristics.

The patterns and designs of Zhuang brocade reflect the Zhuang people's yearning for a better life, their love and respect for nature, and embody their sincerity, simplicity, optimism and generosity.

With the development of the times, Zhuang brocade patterns that reflect national customs and characteristics of the times have also emerged.

Zhuang brocade is colorful, unique in pattern, strong and durable, and is widely used in clothing, decoration, handicrafts, luggage, etc. It is currently mainly produced in Guangxi.

Jingxi, Xincheng, Binyang, Longzhou, Daxin, Wenshan in Yunnan and Lianshan in Guangdong.

1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of Zhuang brocade, stipulates the relevant requirements, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage, and describes Corresponding test methods.
