Scope
GB/T 44095-2024 is the English-translated version of 排舞课程学生运动能力测评规范.
GB/T 44095-2024 sets the method for assessing the athletic ability of students taking a line dance course. Line dance has spread widely through Chinese schools and public squares because it needs no partner, no equipment and very little space, and it has been drawn into the same national framework that grades every school sport on a common six-level ladder so that attainment is comparable between schools and over time. The standard sets the classification of the assessment and the attainment requirements at each level, then the conduct of the assessment - the venue and equipment, the work of the assessor, and the criteria applied at each of levels 1 to 6 - with a normative annex giving the dance routines for levels 1 to 6. It took effect on 28 May 2024.
