Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
1 Scope
This document describes the screening and analysis of eight elements. antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, and selenium in toy plastics using energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. Screening methods and procedures for elements.
This document is applicable to the screening of movable elements such as antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury and selenium in toy plastics, as well as the total amount of elements in toy plastics of screening.
2 Normative reference documents
The contents of the following documents constitute essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, the dated quotations For undated referenced documents, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated referenced documents, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB 6675.1, GB 6675.4 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 Screening
A test that compares test results to set limits to determine the presence of the element being measured and whether further analysis is needed program. [Source: GB/T 33352-2016,3.1]
3.2 X-ray fluorescence spectrometry
A beam of X-rays or high-energy radiation is used to irradiate the sample to be tested, causing it to emit characteristic X-rays to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of the elements in the sample.
Analysis methods can be divided into wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. [Source: GB/T 33352-2016,3.3]
3.3 Characteristic X-ray
The atoms of the element to be measured in the sample are excited by X-rays or high-energy radiation, causing the transition of inner electrons and emitting a certain amount of energy at the same time.
