Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 9832-2007 "Pluff and Fabric Toys". Compared with GB/T 9832-2007, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The definitions of exposed fabric and holes have been changed (see 3.4, 3.5, and

3.2 in the.2007 edition);

b) The terms "toys, plush and cloth toys, normal use, stuffing, impurities, flammability, highly flammable solids" have been added (see...). 3.1~3.3, 3.6~3.9);

c) Changes were made to "filler, strength and assembly quality of non-removable plastic parts, assembly strength of movable joints, function of movable joints, and seams". Technical requirements for "seam and fabric fastness" (see 4.3~4.7, 4.1~4.4,

4.10 in the.2007 edition);

d) The following were removed. "sewing quality, finished product appearance, holes, exposed base fabric, decorative lines, granular filling lining, functionality, integrity, and..." Technical requirements for "symmetry, color difference, dimensions, quality, paint adhesion, and surface finish of plastic parts" (see sections 4.5-

4.9 of the.2007 edition). (April 11-19)

e) Added technical requirements for "safety requirements, basic requirements, pH value, flame retardants, color fastness, sound generator, and electrical accessories" (see 4.1). 4.2, 4.8~4.12);

f) The test methods for "general tensile test and seam tensile test" have been changed (see 5.2, 5.3, and

5.2 in the.2007 version);

g) The test methods for "coating adhesion, dimensions, weight, and appearance inspection" have been deleted (see sections

5.4 of the.2007 edition);

4 Technical Requirements

4.1 Safety Requirements The safety performance of plush and fabric toys shall comply with GB 6675.1, GB 6675.2, GB 6675.3, GB 6675.4 and GB/T 19865. The relevant requirements are stipulated.

4.2 Basic Performance Requirements The stitching should be smooth (this requirement does not apply to pleated stitching), with even stitches, and free from defects such as loose threads, skipped stitches, or broken threads. The finished product should have a neat appearance. Clean, free of impurities and stains. The pile is neatly combed, with no loose threads or lint caught in the seams that would significantly affect the appearance. In its natural state, it should not have obvious... Holes that affect appearance. Plush fabric should not have noticeable exposed backing fabric. Plastic parts should have no obvious color difference, deformation, shrinkage marks, bubbles, delamination, or burrs on the surface. Defects such as cracks and scratches.

5 Test Methods

5.1 Visual Inspection The extracted samples shall be inspected one by one according to the requirements of 4.2, either visually or by appropriate means (such as a magnifying glass).

5.2 General tensile test For non-removable parts made of plastic materials, the following pretreatment should be performed before tensile testing. the specimen should be placed at 60°C±3°C. Place the sample in the container for 8 hours, then at room temperature for 4 hours, and then at -30°C±3°C for 8 hours. Remove the sample and allow it to return to room temperature before proceeding. The toy shall undergo a tensile test. After the tensile test, the toy shall meet the requirements of 4.1.

5.3 Joint Tensile Test Made of flexible materials, with seams (including but not limited to seams formed by stitching, gluing, bonding, heat sealing, or ultrasonic welding) plush fabric. Stuffed toys or bean toys should undergo a seam tensile test as described below.

5.4 Impurity content of filler The determination shall be performed according to the method in Appendix A.

5.5 pH value determination The test shall be conducted in accordance with the method of GB/T 7573.

5.6 Flame retardants The determination shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 36922.

6 Marking

6.1 Product Name The product name should be clearly indicated on both the product packaging and the instruction manual. The product name should comply with national, industry, and enterprise standards. It can demonstrate the true attributes of a product.

6.2 Product Model The product model should be clearly marked on the product, instruction manual, and packaging, and should be consistent.

6.3 Product Standard Number For any product that specifies the implementation of this document, the document number should be marked on the product and its packaging.

6.4 Product Applicable Age The applicable age range for the product should be indicated on the product, its packaging, and the instruction manual.

6.5 Cleaning and Maintenance The instruction manual should provide instructions for the periodic inspection, maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning of the product.

6.6 Producer's name and address The product packaging or instruction manual should indicate the legally registered name and address of the product manufacturer. Imported products should indicate the country/region of origin and that the agent, importer, or distributor is legally registered in China. Name and address.

6.7 Product Label Durability The markings on the product itself should be clear and durable.

7 Grading Requirements

7.1 pH value and color fastness are the key requirements for quality grading in this document, as shown in Table 5.

7.2 Products rated AAA or above may declare the corresponding rating on the product.
