1 Scope

This document stipulates the basic requirements for pig transportation, vehicle equipment requirements, transportation operation requirements, marking and accompanying document requirements.

This document applies to animal epidemic prevention management during road transportation of pigs (including breeding pigs and piglets).

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

4 Basic requirements

4.1 Units or individuals engaged in pig transportation should register with the agricultural and rural authorities of the local county-level people's government. A form should be submitted when filing Business license, personal identity certificate and other materials.

4.2 Pig transportation vehicles should be registered with the agriculture and rural administration department of the local county-level people's government. The vehicle owner's information should be submitted when filing Business license, transportation vehicle driving license, transportation vehicle photos and other materials.
