Scope

GB/T 42428-2023 is the English-translated version of 交通运输卫星导航增强服务性能指标及监测技术规范.

GB/T 42428-2023 sets the performance figures a satellite navigation augmentation service used in transport has to meet, and the way those figures are monitored.

Its contents list covers the augmentation service framework, the service object, the service content and the service level classification, the user and access requirements, the announced performance requirements and the coordinate and time systems; then the four performance indicators defined in clause 3 - accuracy, integrity, continuity and availability - and the monitoring requirements, including the environment, the monitoring equipment and the monitoring method.

Clause 1 states that it applies to performance monitoring of road and waterway transport augmentation services, other transport modes taking it as a reference. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 19391, GB/T 39267 and JT/T 1160.1. Issued on 17 March 2023, it has applied since 1 July 2023.

3.5 An integrated system for improving the performance (coverage, accuracy, integrity, continuity, availability, etc.) of navigation services provided by GNSS. [Source: JT/T 1160.1-2017, 3.1.3, modified]

3.1 Accuracy

It is used to characterize the degree to which the user observation value determined by the navigation system is close to or consistent with its true value.

3.2 Integrity

The ability to issue timely warnings (messages) to the user when the radio navigation system should not be used for navigation. [Source: GB/T 19391-2003, 2.40, modified]

3.3 Continuity

Within a specific period of time (under uninterrupted conditions), the system can provide the time to meet the specified service (accuracy and integrity) requirements Score. [Source: GB/T 39267-2020, 5.1.12, modified]

3.4 Availability

The percentage of time the system is able to meet accuracy, integrity, and continuity to the total operating time of the system.
