Scope
GB/T 42305-2023 is the English-translated version of 肉桂栽培技术规程.
GB/T 42305-2023 is the Chinese code of practice for growing Cinnamomum cassia, the cassia cinnamon tree. Clause 1 states that the document covers management, harvesting and other technical content, and that it applies to the cultivation of cinnamon; clause 4 opens the cultivation procedure with a flow diagram.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Multi-layer forest
multi-layerforest A mixed forest formed by interplanting cinnamon under the arbor forest with a canopy density below 0.7.
3.2 Guilin cassiaplateforest
For the purpose of cultivating Bangui processing raw materials, cinnamon stands with an average plant diameter above 15cm.
