Scope
GB/T 42231-2022 is the English-translated version of 综合客运枢纽通用要求.
GB/T 42231-2022 sets the general requirements for China's comprehensive passenger transport hubs, the interchanges where several modes of transport meet.
Its general clause ties classification and grading to JT/T 1112, asks that siting follow territorial spatial planning and sit close to the central urban area with good external collection and distribution conditions, that the hub be planned, designed and built as one project and managed collaboratively, and that its facility scale be derived from the designed delivery and transfer volumes; the clauses that follow cover the transfer area, traffic organization, informatization, and safety and emergency requirements.
It applies to the planning, design, construction, operation and management of such hubs, and it quotes JT/T 1065 for terminology, JT/T 980 for intelligent systems and GB 50763 for barrier-free design. Issued on 30 December 2022, it has applied since that same date.
