Scope
GB/T 42196-2022 is the English-translated version of 公安物联网视频图像元数据分析技术要求.
GB/T 42196-2022 sets the model and the functional requirements for analysing video and image metadata inside a public security Internet of Things.
It breaks the analysis into data input, metadata management, metadata analysis rules and data output, and its contents list adds an informative annex giving inference rules and matching conditions for a red-light-running event.
Clause 1 applies it to the use of video and image metadata analysis technology in the public security Internet of Things, and states that it does not apply to the public security information network or the public security video transmission network.
Its clause 3 takes its terms from GB/T 33745 and GB/T 42197, and it also quotes GA/T 1399.2 and GA/T 1400.4. Issued on 30 December 2022, it has applied since 1 July 2023.
