1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 datacenter

The computer facility (computer room), other infrastructure, information system hardware and software, information resources (data), personnel, and relevant regulations.

3.2 cold plate

3.3 coolant

The medium that absorbs and transfers heat in a liquid cooling system.

The heat from IT equipment components is transferred to a closed-loop coolant system via a cold plate, and then exchanged through one or more cooling circuits.

The system will eventually exhaust the heat to the outside.

The cooling system absorbs heat from IT equipment components by circulating coolant in a closed pipeline and exchanges heat with the primary cooling system.
