GB/T 41842-2022 is the English-translated version of 功能障碍者移位机配置服务规范.

GB/T 41842-2022 is the service specification for the suppliers who configure and deliver hoists used to transfer disabled persons.

It specifies the classification of hoists, the requirements on the supplier and its service personnel, the configuration service process and the service requirements, which its contents list breaks down into: communicating information with the user, drawing up the configuration scheme, signing the service agreement, delivery, installation and commissioning, handover, technical training and after-sales service, then verification by a return visit and the management of documented information, with record forms in two informative appendices.

Clause 1 excludes the configuration service of hoists for moving people into and out of vehicles, of stair-climbing devices and of vertical transport aids, each identified by its GB/T 16432-2016 code. Issued on 14 October 2022, it has applied since 1 February 2023.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification of lifts for the disabled, supplier requirements, configuration service procedures, configuration service requirements and verification methods.

This document applies to the configuration service of lifts for the disabled (hereinafter referred to as lifts).

This document does not apply to configuration services for the following lifting appliances.

--- Lifts for moving people who are not in wheelchairs into and out of vehicles (121215 in GB/T 16432-2016);

--- Assistive devices for moving people in wheelchairs into and out of vehicles (121218 in GB/T 16432-2016);

---Stair climbing appliances (121703 in GB/T 16432-2016);

--- Vertical transportation aids (1830 in GB/T 16432-2016).

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 16432-2016 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Equipment to lift, transfer, or move a person with a disability

3.2 lift configuration service

A series of activities and processes for training, after-sales service, etc.

Provide users (3.4) with product information communication, configuration plan formulation, quotation, agreement signing, installation and commissioning, delivery, technology

Note: The lift configuration service is abbreviated as configuration service below.

3.3 Configuration plan

According to the needs and actual situation of the user (3.4), a written document for configuring the service content and requirements is proposed.

3.4 User

Groups, families or persons with disabilities receiving configuration services.
