Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 20404-2006 "Technical requirements and test methods for lifting frames for disabled persons", this standard and the main technical changes compared with GB/T 20404-2006 are as follows.

--- Added terms and definitions for bathtub lifts, self-standing fixed lifts, stand-up and/or lift lifts (see 3.5, 3.15, 3.34);

--- Added requirements and test methods for bathtub lifts, self-supporting fixed lifts, stand-up and/or lift-type lifts (see section Chapter 10, Chapter 7, Chapter 6).

This standard uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 10535:2006 "Diffuser Requirements and Test Methods for Dysfunction Persons".

Introduction

Studies have shown that caregivers have a heavy physical burden when caring for people with dysfunction. Use a lift to safely help dysfunctional people independently or complete the shift with the help of a caregiver.

Although, according to the normative reference document GB/T 16432-2004 of this standard, the name of this standard shall be "lifting frame for disabled persons" Requirements and Test Methods, but with the release of the revised version of GB/T 16432, the relevant terms of this standard have also been modified accordingly, the term "disability" "People" was changed to "dysfunction" and "lifting frame" was changed to "lifting machine".

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for the dynamometer shifter and its body support unit in GB/T 16432-2004.

This standard does not include methods for determining the ageing or corrosion of lifts and body support units.

The requirements of this standard are based on the needs of the dysfunctional person being lifted and the caregiver using the lift.
