Scope
GB/T 41783-2022 is the English-translated version of 模块化数据中心通用规范.
GB/T 41783-2022 sets out the composition, categories and classes of modular data centers and specifies their technical requirements, test methods and the identification, packaging, transportation and storage.
It applies to the design, manufacture, installation and application of modular data centers.
The technical requirements cover the energy efficiency level, the cabinet and channel system, the refrigeration, power distribution, power supply, integrated monitoring, lighting, generic cabling and lightning protection and grounding systems, and the site and its environment, with a matching inspection and test method for each.
The document defines the modular data center, the channel system that closes the cold or hot aisle together with the cabinet, and redundancy. Clause 2 cites twelve documents, among them GB/T 2887-2011, GB 7000.1, GB 8624, GB/T 22690 and GB 51215. It was issued on 14 October 2022 and has applied since 1 May 2023.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Modular data center
Installed in a building, it is composed of modular functional modules, and the building provides a data center with supporting facilities for electronic information design. The backup system provides services.
3.2 Channel system
It cooperates with the cabinet to form the components that close the cold/hot aisle, mainly including aisle doors, skylights, bases, etc.
3.3 Redundancy
The key components of the function module are repeatedly configured to share the system load. When some of the key components fail, the repeatedly configured The component supplements the load borne by the faulty component to ensure the normal operation of the functional module.
