GB/T 41549-2022 is the English-translated version of 油茶皂素质量要求.

GB/T 41549-2022 fixes the quality requirements of camellia saponin, the tea saponin recovered from the by-products of Camellia oleifera oil pressing.

It sets the requirements - the appearance, the saponin content, the moisture, the ash and the limits on impurities and heavy metals - and describes the corresponding test methods, the inspection rules and the requirements on labelling, packaging, storage and transport.

1 Scope

This document specifies the quality requirements for Camellia oleifera saponin, and describes the corresponding testing methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, storage and transportation. Loss and other requirements.

This document is applicable to the quality inspection of saponin extracted from Camellia oleifera and its by-products.

A pentacyclic triterpenoid saponin composed of triterpenoid aglycones, saccharides and organic acids extracted from Camellia oleifera and other camellia plants and their by-products.
