GB/T 41356-2022 is the English-translated version of 超硬磨料制品 金刚石圆锯片切割性能测试方法.
GB/T 41356-2022 is the Chinese national method for testing the cutting performance of a diamond circular saw blade. It gives the principle of the test, the test equipment, the materials to be cut, the test procedure, the processing of the data and the test report.
It applies to saw blades from 100 mm to 356 mm in outside diameter and covers the cutting efficiency, the life per unit height of the segment and the cutting noise.
Blade makers, distributors and their customers use it to compare blades on the same terms. Issued on 9 March 2022, it has applied since 1 October 2022.

1 Scope
This document specifies the test methods for the cutting performance of diamond circular saw blades, including test principles, test equipment, test materials, test procedures, Data processing and test reporting.
This document is applicable to diamond circular saw blades (hereinafter referred to as saw blades) with an outer diameter of 100mm~356mm in terms of cutting efficiency and unit height of saw teeth Testing of cutting performance such as life and cutting noise.
2 Normative references

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Cutting efficiency
Under specified conditions, the length of the material cut by the saw blade per unit time.
Note: The unit is meters per minute (m/min).
3.2 Cutting life per unit height of the segment
Under specified conditions, the length of the material cut per unit height of saw blade teeth.
Note: The unit is meters per millimeter (m/mm).
3.3 Cuttingnoise
The maximum noise sound pressure level emitted by the saw blade during cutting.
Note: The unit is decibel (dB).
3.4 Stayingtail
Indented or protruding material at the cut end of the sheet.
Note: Expressed in length, in millimeters (mm).
