Scope
GB/T 41215-2021 is the English-translated version of 空间材料科学实验 地面匹配试验规范.
GB/T 41215-2021 sets out how ground-based matching tests are run for space materials science experiments. It divides them into single matching tests and integrated matching tests, and defines their purpose, when they are carried out, their content and the technical status of the items involved.
The test requirements cover general rules, tailoring of the test plan, the products and equipment taking part, documentation, environmental conditions and material preparation, and the duty mode during the test.
It also deals with organisation and the working group's division of labour, fault plans and troubleshooting, and the evaluation of results, including their validity and the completion criteria, with a normative annex giving the outline of the test programme. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.
