Scope
GB/T 47970-2026 is the English-translated version of 空间环境 航天材料空间环境效应仿真要求.
GB/T 47970-2026 is the Chinese standard "Space environment - Requirements for the simulation of space environment effects on spacecraft materials".
Its scope clause reads: This document specifies the requirements for simulating the space environment effects of aerospace materials, including general requirements, multi-scale simulation methods, and requirements for different aerospace materials.
Simulation requirements for space environment effects and multi-scale simulation strategies. This document applies to the vacuum effect, thermal effect, particle radiation effect, charged effect, and high-energy photon radiation effect of aerospace materials (including electronic materials).
The computational simulation of the effects of atomic oxygen erosion and the impact effects of space debris and meteoroids is also applicable to the on-orbit performance of aerospace materials (macro).
(Observational performance) is a predictor. This document is not applicable to the simulation analysis of space environment effects on spacecraft components, devices, and assemblies. Its clauses include terms and definitions, abbreviations.

3.1 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 32452, GB/T 41543, GB/T 42846, and GB/T 44776-2024, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply.
This document.
3.1.1 multiscale simulation
Simulations conducted at different scales, including quantum, microscopic, mesoscopic, and macroscopic scales.
3.1.2 quantum scale
The motion and interaction of matter are governed by the laws of quantum mechanics, ranging from the Planck length (approximately 1.616 × 10^-³^5 m) to the atomic level.
The size range (approximately 10-9m).
Note 1.The quantum scale is the most fundamental scale level in the material world. The objects of study at this scale include atoms, electrons, and smaller particles (such as quarks).
Note 2.The core characteristics of the quantum scale include quantum superposition (a particle simultaneously existing in multiple states, such as Schrödinger's cat's "both dead and alive" state), quantum entanglement, and quantum entanglement.
Entanglement (multiple particles forming an interconnected whole, where a change in the state of one particle instantly affects another, regardless of distance), wave-particle duality (particles are both...
It exhibits both the locality of particles and the dispersion of waves, such as the interference fringes formed when electrons pass through the double slits.
