Scope

GB/T 41164-2021 is the English-translated version of 碎软低渗煤层顶板水平井分段压裂技术规范.

GB/T 41164-2021 sets out the technology for staged fracturing of horizontal wells drilled in the roof strata above broken-soft, low-permeability coal seams, as used to extract coalbed methane.

It covers the design of the staged fracturing scheme, the fracturing operations on site and the evaluation of the fracturing effect, and its informative annexes give the format of the scheme design tables and outlines for the construction design document and for the summary report on fracturing construction.

It defines the broken-soft, low-permeability coal seam and the roof horizontal well, and draws on oil and gas industry standards on fracturing fluids, proppants, perforating, bridge plugs, well control and microseismic monitoring.

Horizontal wells in other coal structures, or in the seam floor, can use it for reference. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

1 Scope

This document specifies the design, construction operation and fracturing effect evaluation of the staged fracturing scheme for horizontal wells on the roof of the coal seam used for the extraction of coalbed methane. requirements.

This document is applicable to the staged fracturing of horizontal wells on the roof of coal seams of crushed soft and low permeability coal seams, and the horizontal wells or floor of coal seams of other coal structures. Horizontal well staged fracturing can be used as a reference.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Broken-soft and low-permeability coal seam

Under the action of geological tectonic movement, the coal seam is rubbed, squeezed and deformed, and the structure of the coal body is destroyed into fragments, granular, powder, etc.

It is scaly and compacted under the action of the overlying strata, resulting in a coal seam with low permeability.
