Scope
GB/T 41070-2021 is the English-translated version of 裸眼3D柱透镜光栅膜 光学测量方法.
GB/T 41070-2021 gives the optical measurement method for the lenticular lens film used in autostereoscopic, or naked-eye, 3D displays.
It defines the terms the measurements rely on, among them the disc angle of the beam a pixel group forms through a lens, 3D crosstalk between the light meant for the left and the right eye, and angular brightness variation.
It then fixes the measurement conditions, a temperature of (23 ± 2) °C, relative humidity of (50 ± 5)% and a darkroom where the illuminance on the object is not higher than 0.3 lx, the instrument settings with a spot luminance meter, the measurement content and steps, and the test report.
It applies to evaluating the 3D optical properties of lenticular films for naked-eye stereoscopic displays. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.
1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions of optical measurement methods for naked-eye 3D cylindrical lens grating films (hereinafter referred to as "cylindrical lens grating films"). measurement conditions, measurement settings, measurement content and steps, and test reports.
This document is applicable to the evaluation of 3D optical properties of cylindrical lens grating films for naked-eye stereoscopic displays.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Disc angle
The opening angle of a light beam formed by a pixel group of a naked-eye 3D display through a lens (convex lens).
3.2 3D crosstalk
After the light signal is split by the cylindrical lens, the light entering the left eye is mixed into the right eye, and the light entering the right eye is mixed into the left eye interference.
3.3 Angular brightness variation
Variation of brightness in the viewing angle direction.
4 Measurement Conditions
4.1 Temperature and humidity
Temperature (23±2)°C, relative humidity (50±5)%.
4.2 Lighting conditions
Darkroom environment, the illumination at any position of the measured object is not higher than 0.3lx.
5 Measurement settings
5.1 Instrument settings
The measuring instrument adopts a point measuring luminance meter, the luminance measuring range is 0.01cd/m2~320000cd/m2, and the measuring angle is 1°. Measurement when the lens is focused on the light-emitting surface of the 3D display module to be measured.
