Scope
GB/T 41057-2021 is the English-translated version of 预应力钢筒混凝土管分布式光纤声监测技术要求.
GB/T 41057-2021 sets the technical requirements for distributed fibre-optic acoustic systems that monitor prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) for broken prestressing wires.
A sensing optical cable is laid along the pipeline; when a prestressed wire breaks, the vibration it produces disturbs the optical signal in the cable, and the system detects, collects and processes that signal to identify the break and determine its time and location.
The document covers the method principle, general and performance requirements, installation and acceptance, operation and maintenance, and the basic content of the monitoring report, and defines terms such as the simulated missing report rate obtained with knock tests.
It applies to online monitoring of the integrity of the prestressing wires in PCCP pipelines. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.
1 Scope
This document specifies the method principle, general requirements, performance requirements, installation and acceptance requirements, operation and maintenance requirements, the basic information of the monitoring report is given.
This document is applicable to online monitoring of the integrity of prestressed steel wires for prestressed concrete-filled cylinder pipelines.
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents constitute essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated citations documents, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Prestressed concrete cylinder pipe; PCCP
A pipe made by wrapping a hoop prestressed steel wire on the outside of a concrete pipe core with a steel cylinder and making a protective layer of cement mortar. [Source: GB/T 19685-2017, 3.1.1, with modifications]
3.2 Distributed optical fiber acoustic monitoring technology
A technology for acoustic signal monitoring based on the principle of distributed optical fiber sensing.
3.3 Distributed optical fiber acoustic monitoring system
A system for acoustic signal monitoring based on the principle of distributed optical fiber sensing.
3.4 Simulated missing report rate
Through the knock test to simulate the broken wire missing rate, the ratio of the number of missed effective knocks to the total effective knocks.
4 Principles of the method
The sensing optical cable is laid along the prestressed steel cylinder concrete pipeline. When the prestressed steel wire breaks, the vibration wave generated will affect the optical signal in the optical cable.
The monitoring system detects, collects and processes the optical signal, identifies the broken wire of the prestressed concrete cylinder pipe, and determines the broken wire time and location.
