Scope

GB/T 41036-2021 is the English-translated version of 宇航用超高低温圆形电连接器通用规范.

GB/T 41036-2021 is the general specification for circular electrical connectors that must work at both very high and very low temperatures in space applications.

It covers the technical requirements, from materials, design and interchangeability to insulation and contact resistance, withstand voltage, air leakage, ultra-low temperature, kerosene leakage, temperature shock, damp heat, salt spray, vibration, shock, acceleration, thermal vacuum outgassing and irradiation resistance, and gives the inspection method for each.

It also sets the inspection rules, with qualification and quality consistency inspection, and the packaging, transport and storage of the connectors. It applies to their design, manufacture and inspection, and relies on the GB/T 2423 and GB/T 5095 test methods. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.
