1 Scope

This document specifies the reagents, instruments and devices, sample preparation, and testing of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (see Appendix B) in musical instrument products. Steps, calculation results, detection limit, precision and accuracy, test report.

This document is applicable to the testing of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in musical instruments, musical instrument accessories and indoor musical instrument packaging.

3 Terms and definitions

4 Method summary

Ultrasonic extraction is used, and the appropriate purification method is selected according to the interference of the sample matrix.

Spectrometer (GC-MS) was used for the determination, and the internal standard method was used for quantification.

5 Reagents

5.1 n-hexane. chromatographically pure.

5.2 Acetone. Chromatographically pure.

5.3 Toluene. chromatographically pure.

5.4 Isopropanol. chromatographically pure.

5.5 Mixed solvent of n-hexane-acetone. prepare n-hexane (5.1) and acetone (5.2) in a volume ratio of 1.1.

5.6 Nitrogen. purity >=99.99%.

5.7 Helium. purity >=99.999%.

5.8 Standard stock solution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. mass concentration rho=1000µg/mL~5000µg/mL, commercially available certified standard solution.

5.9 Standard working solution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. mass concentration rho=200µg/mL~500µg/mL, diluted with n-hexane-acetone mixed solvent (5.5) […]
