1.Scope This document establishes the general sampling rules for testing musical instruments for hazardous substances, specifying the sampling sites, test items, and laboratory samples. 4 Sampling General Rules

4.1 Test samples should preferably be taken directly from the product. Samples can be selected from the same materials and their attachments that are representative of the product and provided by the manufacturer. Matrix material. 4.2 When multiple parts of the same product are made of the same material, a sample may be taken from one part after the client has made a commitment and explicitly stated this.
