Scope
GB/T 40610-2021 is the English-translated version of 电力系统在线潮流数据二进制描述及交换规范.
GB/T 40610-2021 sets out how power flow data of an electric power system are described in binary form and exchanged.
It covers general requirements, the binary coding, the model description and the interaction mode, and its informative annexes give the node branch model, the equipment physical model and the typical structures of a UHV DC system and of a unified power flow controller.
The binary description is to include an overall description of the model, a model index, the node branch model and the equipment physical model,. It applies to exchanging grid power flow models and calculation results, without switching information, between power control centres at all levels or between their internal application modules. It was issued on 11 October 2021 and has applied since 1 May 2022.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
1 Scope
This document describes the binary coding and interaction method of power system flow data, and specifies general requirements, binary coding, model description Narrative and interactive mode.
This document is applicable to grid power flow models and calculations that do not involve switching information between power control centers at all levels or between internal application modules.
Data interaction for calculation results. Other application scenarios related to power flow data of the power grid are implemented by reference.
2 Normative references
The content of the following documents constitutes an indispensable clause of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated quotations Only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Power flow data
Describe the operating state data such as voltage and power of various power equipment when the power system is operating in a steady state.
3.2 Power grid model
A data collection that meets the application requirements of power grid operation monitoring, control, analysis and calculation, and expresses the attributes and connection relationships of electrical equipment.
3.3 Node branch model
A mathematical model established based on the component parameters and the connection mode or topological relationship of the components in the power system.
Note: See Appendix A for details.
3.4 Device physical model
Models describing the internal electrical structure and parameters of various types of equipment.
Note: Including physical bus, generator, load, parallel compensator, series compensator, AC line, transformer, transformer winding, DC system, unified power flow control Maker and other models. See Appendix B for details.
4 General requirements
The binary description of the power flow data should include the overall description of the model, model index, node branch model, equipment physical model, etc., see the structure Table A.1. The binary exchange of power flow data should meet the requirements of fast exchange between power system analysis applications in different scenarios.
