GB/T 40206-2021 is the English-translated version of 精密外转子轴流风机通用规范.

GB/T 40206-2021 is the general specification for precision external rotor axial fans, in which the motor rotor sits on the outside and the blades are fixed directly to it by crimping, riveting, welding, screws or integral moulding.

It applies to fans for refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment with a blade outer diameter of up to 1200 mm and a drive motor of up to 1000 W, and larger fans may use it as a reference.

It covers types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, delivery preparation and user service, and defines the subsequent speed measured after environmental and high-temperature life tests.

Its references include GB/T 1236 for air duct performance tests, the GB/T 2423 environmental tests and GB/T 2888 for fan noise. It was issued on 21 May 2021 and has applied since 1 December 2021.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the type and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, Inspection rules, delivery preparation and user service.

This standard applies to the outer diameter of the fan blades used in refrigeration, heating, ventilation and ventilation system equipment not greater than 1200mm, and the power of the drive motor does not exceed 1000W axial flow fan. The axial flow fan with the outer diameter of the blade larger than 1200mm can also be used as a reference.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Precision external rotor axial fan

The rotor of the motor is on the outside, and the fan blades are directly connected by crimping, riveting, welding, screw assembly, integral molding, etc., and the airflow is along the axis of the motor.

An axial flow fan that is drawn in from one side and flows out to the other side through the blades.

Note: The material of the fan blades includes steel, aluminum, and plastic. It can be installed with equipment, brackets, and walls in the form of nets, cylinders, squares, and round frames.

3.2 Subsequent speed

The speed of the precision external rotor axial flow fan measured after various environmental tests and high temperature life tests.
