Scope

GB/T 39987-2021 is the English-translated version of 钯锭.

GB/T 39987-2021 specifies palladium ingots. Following the designation method of GB/T 18035, it divides them into three grades by palladium content, IC-Pd99.99, IC-Pd99.95 and IC-Pd99.90, with palladium mass fractions of at least 99.99 %, 99.95 % and 99.90 % and maximum contents for impurity elements such as platinum, rhodium, iridium and ruthenium.

Besides the chemical composition, the document covers the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the ingots. It also deals with marking, packaging, transport and storage, the accompanying documents and the contents of the order.
