Scope
GB/T 39953-2021 is the English-translated version of 五轴联动加工中心 RTCP精度检验.
GB/T 39953-2021 specifies how to test the RTCP accuracy of five-axis simultaneous machining centres, that is how closely the machine keeps the tool centre point on its theoretical coordinates while the axes move together with the RTCP function on.
It applies to machines with three linear and two rotary axes of the double swivel head, double rotary table and swivel head plus rotary table types, and may be used as a reference for other five-axis structures.
It sets general requirements on units, reference standards, inspection sequence, inspection tools, software compensation, axis naming and minimum tolerance, then covers the RTCP accuracy, motion accuracy and interpolation accuracy tests.
Informative annexes deal with circular motion accuracy for each structure, circular interpolation at variable speed and examples of error graphics. It was issued on 9 March 2021 and has applied since 1 October 2021.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the inspection requirements, inspection methods and corresponding tolerances of the RTCP accuracy of the five-axis machining center.
This standard is applicable to five types of double swing head structure, double turntable structure, swing head and turntable composite structure containing three linear axes and two rotary axes.
Axis linkage machining center (hereinafter referred to as machine tool). For other structures, five-axis linkage machining center, please refer to the implementation.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Tool center point follow function; RTCP
In the workpiece coordinate system, it can respond to the instantaneous position change of the rotary axis and keep the tool center point coordinate unchanged.
Note: The RTCP error is the error value of the tool center point coordinate during multi-axis linkage when the RTCP function is enabled.
3.2 RTCP accuracy
When the RTCP function is enabled, the proximity of the theoretical coordinate value of the tool center point to the actual coordinate value during multi-axis linkage is detected.
4 General requirements
4.1 Unit of measurement
