Scope
GB/T 39933-2021 is the English-translated version of 滚塑成型 低温冲击试验.
GB/T 39933-2021 describes how to test the low-temperature impact resistance of rotationally moulded plastic products. It gives two methods: a pass method (method A) and a gradient method (method B).
The standard defines rotational moulding and the three outcomes of the test - ductile failure, brittle failure and no failure - and covers the principle, the equipment, the specimens, the test environment, the test procedure, data processing, precision and the test report, with informative annexes giving a test data table and a worked example.
It applies to semi-rigid and rigid rotomoulded products tested at -40 °C, may be used as a reference for other temperatures and for rotomoulding materials, and does not apply to products thinner than 3.0 mm. It was issued on 9 March 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2021.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies two methods for the low-temperature impact test of rotational molding. the passing method (A method) and the gradient method (B method).
This standard applies to the low-temperature impact performance of rotationally molded semi-rigid plastic products or rigid plastic products at -40°C. Other temperature The impact performance below can refer to this standard, and the low temperature impact performance of rotomolding materials can refer to this standard.
This standard does not apply to rotomolding products with a thickness of less than 3.0mm.
2 Normative references

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2035-2008 apply to this document.
3.1 Rotational moulding
Rotational molding Rotomolding Spin molding Put the resin molding material into the mold, heat the mold and make it rotate continuously at a low speed, the resin in the mold gradually under the action of gravity and heat Gradually coated and adhered to the inner surface of the mold to form the required shape, and then cooled to obtain a processing method for plastic products.
Note: Rewrite GB/T 2035-2008, definition 2.873.
3.2 Ductile failure
After the test, the sample forms a through crack, gap or hole, and the sample around the crack, gap or hole is stretched.
3.3 Brittle failure
After the test, the sample is broken, split into more than two pieces, or formed through cracks, gaps or holes, and the cracks, gaps or holes are tested around the There is no stretching phenomenon.
3.4 No failure
After the test, the sample is intact, or only cracks and gaps that do not penetrate the sample are formed.
