GB/T 39889-2021 is the English-translated version of 盲文写字板.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 16432 apply to this document.

3.1 Braille writing board

A device for writing Braille with a braille pen and a board with holes and pits.

Note: The braille pen consists of a pen shaft and a pen tip.

3.2 Fang cel

The rectangular position occupied by a blind symbol.

3.3 Blind character

A symbol composed of different permutations in a six-point system on one side.

3.4 Each raised part that constitutes the blind symbol

3.5 Positionofdot

The location of each of the six points on a party.

3.6 Orderofdot

The order of the six dots on one side is represented by Arabic numerals 1~6.
