Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the combustibility of conveyor belts in relatively high local heat sources (such as fire).

This standard is applicable to the large-scale flammability test of propane burners in flame-retardant conveyor belts.

3 Propane gas supply

The bottled propane gas used in this test is in accordance with ISO 9162. The propane gas enters through a high-pressure hose with an inner diameter of at least 6.3 mm. There are two options for the burner.

a) Pass a pressure reducing valve, a check valve and a standard orifice plate with a thickness of 1.7mm and a hole diameter of 2.5mm;

b) A pressure reducing valve and a check valve equipped with a high-precision flow meter are used to ensure accurate metering of the consumed gas.

Before and during the test, the propane bottle must be immersed in water at a temperature of (25±3)°C, and the depth of immersion is approximately the height of the propane bottle Two-thirds of the degree. At the end of the test, the remaining gas in the propane bottle should not be less than 10% of the capacity of the bottle.
