Scope
GB/T 39072-2020 is the English-translated version of 袋栽银耳菌棒生产规范.
GB/T 39072-2020 sets out the terms and definitions, the production site, the production equipment and facilities, the production process and its requirements, the marking and transport and the production management for the artificial bed-logs, or fungus sticks, of white jelly fungus cultivated in plastic bags.
Clause 1 applies it to the production of bag-cultivated white jelly fungus sticks.
Clause 3 repeats three definitions drawn from GB/T 12728-2006: plastic bag cultured white jelly fungus, meaning cultivation that uses plastic bags as the container; the culture material stick, the rod-shaped medium after the bag has been filled and before inoculation; and the artificial bed-log, the stick of material carrying mycelium after inoculation, also called fungus tube or artificial mushroom wood.
Clause 4, Requirements, opens with the production site, where site selection and plant environment call for open ground, convenient transport and a sufficient water supply and advise against ground liable to flooding or affected by insects.
The normative references place the work beside GB/T 29369 on the technical specification for Tremella production, GB 50041 on boiler room design, NY/T 528 on edible fungus production, NY/T 1284 on the inspection of edible fungus pests and NY/T 1731 on good practice for edible fungus strains.
The standard was proposed by the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and falls under the National Tremella Standardization Working Group (SAC/SWG9); it was drafted mainly by bodies in Gutian County, among them the county edible fungus research and development centre, the county edible fungus industry administration and local edible fungus companies.
It carries the Chinese classification B31 and ICS 65.020.20. It was issued on 2020-09-29 and has applied since 2021-01-01.
