2.1 Dynamicpositioning

DP With the automatic and/or manually controlled hydrodynamic system, the ship can operate under the specified operating range and environmental conditions during its operation.

Maintain its position and heading.

2.2 Dynamicalypositionedvessel

A ship that can automatically maintain position and heading (fixed position, relative position or preset track) through the thrust of the propeller.

2.3 Dynamicpositioningsystem

A complete set of systems necessary for dynamic positioning ships to achieve dynamic positioning.

Note. Including thruster system, power system, dynamic positioning control system, independent joint joystick system.

2.4 Thrustersystem

Propeller and its control device for dynamic positioning.

Note. Including propellers with driving equipment and necessary auxiliary systems (including pipelines), main propellers and rudders under the control of the dynamic positioning system, and propeller control

Control equipment, manual thruster controller and related cables and cable wiring.

2.5 Powersystem

All components and systems that provide power to the dynamic positioning system.

Systems and auxiliary systems that support the aforementioned systems.

2.6 Dynamicpositioningcontrolsystem

All control elements and/or systems, hardware and software necessary for a dynamic positioning vessel.

System with centralized manual ship position control and manual or automatic heading control.
