1 Scope
This part of GB/T 38317 specifies the functional requirements, size requirements, and electrical characteristics of the physical communication interface of the smart energy meter.

4.1 Dimensions and structural requirements
4.1.1 Dimensions

4.1.2 Weak current interface structure
The definition of the weak current interface and pins of the smart energy meter communication module should conform to the regulations in Figure 1 and Table 2. The carrier-coupled interface shall meet the requirements of Appendix C.
