1 Scope

This standard specifies the object, content and requirements of the reliability work of the machine tool CNC system, and the reliability requirements of the machine tool CNC system product.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2900.13-2008 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Reliability

The ability of the CNC system to complete the specified functions under the specified conditions and within the specified time interval.

Note 1. It is generally believed that the numerical control system is in a state where it can complete the required function at the beginning of the time interval. Although the magnitude of reliability exists objectively , But in fact usually use limited sample observation data, and get its estimate value through statistical calculation. The magnitude of reliability is also called reliability.

Note 2. Rewrite the definition 3.1 of GB/T 29545-2013.

3.2 Inherent reliability

Reliability given to products through design and manufacturing, and under ideal use and guarantee conditions.

3.3 Reliability parameter

Characteristic quantity describing the reliability level of CNC system products.

3.4 Reliability index

The magnitude of the reliability level of the CNC system.

Note. Reliability indicators usually include qualitative reliability indicators and quantitative reliability indicators.

3.5 Mission reliability

The ability of the CNC system to complete the specified functions in the specified mission profile.

Note. The sample of statistics when determining the reliability of a task is the fault that affects the completion of the task during the task.
