Scope
GB/T 40329-2021 is the English-translated version of 工业机械电气设备及系统 数控PLC编程语言.
GB/T 40329-2021 specifies the syntax and semantics of the special modules of the PLC programming language used in the numerical control systems of industrial machines.
It applies to CNC systems for metalworking, plastics and rubber, woodworking and other machinery.
It sets basic requirements and a programming model, describes the languages a CNC system supports, namely sequential function chart, instruction list, structured text, ladder diagram and function block diagram, and defines special function blocks for CNC use.
Informative annexes give function blocks for machine tool tool post commands, feedrate override and tool magazine commands, and its terms follow GB/T 15969.3-2017. It was issued on 20 August 2021 and has applied since 1 March 2022.

1 Scope
This document specifies the grammar and semantics of the programming language special modules for the CNC system PLC programming language of industrial machinery electrical equipment and systems.
This document is applicable to CNC systems used in metal processing machinery, plastic and rubber machinery, woodworking machinery and other electrical equipment and systems. And the PLC programming language.
Note: The definition of PLC is consistent with the definition in GB/T 15969.1-2007.
