3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Target volatile organic compound

A single volatile organic compound selected and analyzed in the product.

Note. For example, toluene, formaldehyde, alcohol ester dodeca (2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol and isomers thereof) and the like.

3.2 Target volatile organic compound release target

In the actual release environment of the specified simulated paint (including coating), at one or more sampling time points, the adsorption tube is used for sampling, non-polar

Separation column (polarity index less than 10), retention time between n-hexane and n-hexadecane (including n-hexane and n-hexadecane)

The concentration of volatile organic compounds.

3.3 Total volatile organic compounds total volatileorganiccompounds; TVOC

Samples were taken using a sorbent tube and analyzed on a non-polar column (with a polarity index of less than 10). The retention time was in n-hexane to

The sum of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) between n-hexadecane (including n-hexane and n-hexadecane).

3.4 Total volatile organic compound (TVOC) release total volatileorganiccompounds (TVOC) emission

In the actual release environment of the specified simulated paint (including coating), at one or more sampling time points, the adsorption tube is used for sampling, non-polar

Separation of the column (polarity index less than 10), retention time between n-hexane and n-hexadecane (including n-hexane and n-hexadecane)

The sum of the concentrations of organic compounds (VOC).
