3 method summary

The ash sample is burned to a constant weight, mixed with a binder, ground, pressed into a swatch, or melted with a flux to prepare a swatch. Sample is subject to the primary X

After the radiation, the atom of the element to be tested emits X-ray fluorescence, and the X-ray fluorescence intensity of the element to be tested is measured by the detector, according to the element to be tested.

Quantitative relationship between X-ray fluorescence intensity and content, using a calibration curve or an appropriate mathematical correction mode to calculate the content of the element to be tested.

4 reagents and materials

Unless otherwise stated, the reagents used in this standard are of analytical grade and the water used is deionized water or distilled water of equivalent purity.

4.1 Detector gas

The gas composition is 90% argon and 10% methane. Other components can also be used.

4.2 Strong absorbent
