Scope
GB/T 3742-2008 is the English-translated version of 卡套式锥螺纹三通管接头.
GB/T 3742-2008 belongs to the bite type pipe fittings series and deals with the taper thread sleeve tee and its joint body.
Clause 1 states that it specifies the dimensions, marking and technical requirements of the taper threaded sleeve tee and the joint body, and that it applies to hydraulic fluid power and general purpose pipeline systems with a pipe outside diameter of 4 mm to 42 mm and a maximum working pressure of 10 MPa to 40 MPa.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 3759-2008, GB/T 3764-2008 and GB/T 3765-2008. Clause 3, on dimensions, requires the tee fitting body and its dimensions to comply with Figure 1, Figure 2 and Table 1, with the sleeve end of the joint body following GB/T 3764.

This standard is one bite type pipe fittings series.
This standard is GB/T 3742.1-1983 "card sets of taper thread tee" and GB/T 3742.2-1983 "card sets of cone snails Revision pattern tee Style ". The main amendments are as follows.

1 Scope
