1 Scope

China's national standard for the point supporting devices used in curtain walls. It specifies the terms and definitions, the classification and marking, the materials, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the product marking and certification. A point supported facade is the one with no visible frame: glass panels are held at their corners by stainless steel fittings - the spider and the routel - that pass through drilled holes in the glass and connect to a structure of cables, trusses or fins behind.
