Scope
GB/T 37179-2018 is the English-translated version of 脱硫烟囱防腐蚀工程质量评定规范.
GB/T 37179-2018 sets out how the quality of anticorrosion work on chimneys and flues after wet desulfurization is accepted and assessed. It lays down the basic requirements on dividing the work for acceptance, the acceptance criteria and the procedure and organization of acceptance.
It then covers treatment of the concrete, steel and brick substrates and each lining system in turn: coatings, fibre reinforced plastic, foam brick, metal materials, acid-resistant castable and corrosion-resistant rubber in sheet or liquid form, each with its general provisions, main control items and general items.
Annex A gives the record form for quality acceptance and assessment. It applies to the acceptance and assessment of the construction quality of this anticorrosion work. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 November 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the wet desulfurization chimney (flue) base treatment project, coating anti-corrosion engineering, fiber reinforced plastic anti-corrosion engineering, Foam brick anti-corrosion engineering, metal material anti-corrosion engineering, acid-proof castable anti-corrosion engineering and corrosion-resistant rubber anti-corrosion engineering construction quality Basic requirements for assessment.
This standard is applicable to the acceptance and assessment of the construction quality of chimney (flue) anti-corrosion engineering after wet desulfurization.
