Scope
GB/T 37088-2018 is the English-translated version of 玉米一次性施肥技术指南.
GB/T 37088-2018 is a Chinese national technical guide to fertilizing maize once, at sowing, so that no topdressing is needed for the rest of the growing season.
It gives guidance on the type of fertilizer, the nutrient application rate and ratio, the nutrient release period, the time and depth of fertilization, the spacing between seed and fertilizer, and the farm machinery operations that go with them.
Its terms include simultaneous seeding and fertilization, slow and controlled release fertilizer, sulfur-coated urea and stabilized fertilizer with urease or nitrification inhibitors.
It applies to the main maize-growing areas of China, can be used as a reference elsewhere, and does not apply to sandy soils or other soils that retain water and fertilizer poorly. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
Introduction
Corn is China's largest food crop, and high yield and stable yield of corn is essential to ensure China's food production. With the scale of corn production The expansion of chemicalization and the continuous improvement of mechanization require the standardization and light reduction of corn production. At the same time, there is fertilization in China's corn production.
Non-standard, excessive application, serious nutrient loss, and non-point source pollution also require the scientific and standardized corn fertilization. To achieve China's jade This standard is specially formulated for the production of precision fertilization, standardized fertilization, cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness.
1 Scope
This standard gives the fertilizer type, nutrient application rate and proportion, fertilizer nutrient release period, fertilization time, Technical guidelines for fertilization depth, spacing of seed fertilizers, and associated agricultural machinery operations.
This standard applies to the main corn producing areas of the country, and other corn growing areas can be used as a reference.
This standard does not apply to sandy soils and other soils with poor water retention and fertilizer retention.
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only dated versions apply to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Corn disposable fertilization technology
Select the appropriate fertilizer, use the same fertilizer and sowing (3.2), one fertilization to provide the nutrients needed for the whole growth period, no longer topdressing, Efficient and stable fertilization technology when it comes to saving labor and time.
3.2 Synchronized seeding and fertilization
When the crop is planted, the seed and fertilizer are used safely and effectively by setting the appropriate seed and fertilizer distance. Techniques for planting soil.
3.3 Slow controlled release fertilizer
Through the chemical compounding or physical action of nutrients, the effective nutrients of the crop can be slowly released over time or over time.
The chemical fertilizer released by the nutrient can be controlled according to the set release rate (%) and release period (d).
Note: Rewrite GB/T 23348-2009, definition 3.1 and HG/T 4215-2011, definition 3.1.
3.4 Sulfur-coated urea; SCU
A coated slow release fertilizer made from sulfur-coated granular urea. [GB/T 29401-2012, definition 3.1]
3.5 Stabilized fertilizer
After a certain process, urease inhibitors and/or nitrification inhibitors are added, and after being applied to the soil, urea hydrolysis can be inhibited by urease inhibitors.
