GB/T 36932-2018 sets out the general requirements for installing and wiring household and similar electrical appliances that need installation and wiring work.
It covers the terms used, the classification of appliances into indoor types and types installed and routed both indoors and outdoors, and the requirements for installation, for wiring and for acceptance of the finished job.
Installation is treated as the whole activity of fixing, connecting and commissioning an appliance to suit the user's environment, while wiring includes external circuits and other pipelines, network and signal lines among them.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, and installation of household and similar electrical appliances (hereinafter referred to as "home appliances"). Requirements, wiring requirements, and acceptance requirements.
This standard applies to household appliances that have installation and wiring requirements.
Note: Additional installation and wiring requirements may be required for household appliances used in special environments.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Installation
Combine the specific environmental conditions of household appliances and users, fix the household appliances in place and perform correct combination, connection and debugging to achieve It is a complete activity that meets relevant safety requirements and intended use features.
3.2 Wiring
Design and set up external circuits and various types of pipelines for household appliances to suit their normal use activities.
