Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the code of the domestic main commodity timber species.

This standard applies to domestically produced main commodity logs and sawn timber.

3 Main commodity timber tree species code

3.1 The names of timber species are sorted in alphabetical order by the Latin name, and the first species in the same section are again in accordance with the tree species in GB/T 16734-1997. Sort the tree species in the order.

3.2 Tree species code writing principles.

a) When the genus name and the genre are determined, the code name. "The first two letters of the first two letters of the genus name" are composed of 4 letters. And capitalized, for example, the number 2 cedar CupressusfunebrisEndl. code is CUFU;

When the same code appears, the tree code code that follows is taken. "The first two letters of the first two letters of the generic name and the third letter or the first Four letters (and so on) are composed and capitalized, for example, Pin No. 17 Pinustabulaeformis Carr. is codenamed PITA, No. 18 fire The code name for the Pinustaeda L. is PITE.

c) For the variant tree species, the code name is.
