GB/T 36652-2018 is the English-translated version of TFT混合液晶材料规范.
GB/T 36652-2018 is the Chinese national product specification for TFT liquid crystal mixtures, the blended liquid crystal materials used in thin-film transistor (TFT) displays.
It divides them into positive and negative mixtures and sets requirements for appearance, mechanical impurities and a table of technical indicators.
The test methods cover clearing point, resistivity, optical anisotropy, threshold and saturation voltage, voltage holding ratio, ion density, purity and volatiles by gas chromatography, moisture content, dielectric anisotropy, viscosity, a low-temperature test and particles.
It also gives the inspection rules, with batching, sampling, type and factory inspection, the decision rule and the certificate of compliance, and the requirements for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It was issued on 17 September 2018 and has applied since 1 April 2019.

According to the performance of the product, the product is divided into two types. positive-TFT hybrid liquid crystal material and negative-TFT hybrid liquid crystal material.
5 Technical requirements
