Scope
GB/T 36605-2018 is the English-translated version of 物联网标识体系 Ecode解析规范.
GB/T 36605-2018 sets out how codes of the Ecode item coding scheme used in the Internet of Things are resolved. It specifies the architecture of the Ecode resolution system and the functional requirements of its services, with separate clauses for resolving codes that use the Ecode header structure and codes that use the general structure.
The terms it defines rest on the DNS: NAPTR, A and AAAA resource records, the identifier domain name built from the Ecode version and the coding system identifier, and the coding system and coded data structure resolution services.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the architecture and functional requirements of the Ecode resolution system.
This standard applies to the design and implementation of an analytical system using Ecode coding scheme in the field of Internet of Things. Other closed systems can participate. According to this standard.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 31866 apply to this document.
3.1 NAPTR resource record
A type of DNS resource record, which is a regular expression based on rewrite rules.
Note: See RFC2915.
3.2 A resource record
A DNS resource record type is a record that points to the IPv4 address corresponding to the host name.

3.3 AAAA resource record
A type of DNS resource record, which is a record pointing to the IPv6 address corresponding to the host name.
Note: See RFC3596.
3.4 Identification domain name
Ecode encoding version (V) and coding system identifier (NSI) are converted into FQDN format according to specific conversion rules.
3.5 Coding system resolution service
Handling parsing requests for all Ecode encoding schemes, completing the correspondence between version V and encoding system identifier NSI and any encoding system, and complete the process of identifying the conversion of the domain name.
3.6 Coded data structure resolution service
The encoding rule of the encoding system is obtained according to the identifier identifying the domain name, and the process of converting the primary code domain name is completed based on the encoding rule.
