GB/T 36583-2018 is the Chinese test method for the resistance of external thermal insulation composite systems to penetration. It describes the principle, the apparatus, the preparation of test specimens, the procedure, the expression of results and the test report.
The resistance is taken as the maximum force reached when a steel penetrator with a hemispherical end is pressed into the surface of the system at a constant speed.
The standard specifies the testing machine, its rigid parallel platen and the dimensions and tolerances of the penetrator. It applies to external wall insulation systems finished with a plaster rendering, and is used by testing laboratories and manufacturers of insulation systems, with terms taken from GB/T 4132. 1 Scope
This standard specifies the principle, device, sample preparation, procedure, result expression and test report of the anti-penetration test of the external thermal insulation system.
This standard applies to external wall thermal insulation plastering system.

4 Principle
The maximum pressing force on the surface of the external thermal insulation system is the penetration resistance and the penetration resistance of the external thermal insulation system. The penetration resistance of the external insulation system.
5 Devices
5.1 Testing machine
The test machine shall be equipped with a rigid, smooth square or circular parallel platen with a side length (or diameter) not less than the length of the test piece. Degree (or diagonal).
The test machine penetration device is a steel column body with a length of at least 100 mm, a diameter of (20 ± 0.1) mm, and a half end of the cylinder.
