GB/T 36565-2018 is the English-translated version of 煤基费托合成石脑油.

GB/T 36565-2018 is the product standard for naphtha made by coal-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, in which syngas is catalytically converted into liquid products that are then post-treated and cut.

It covers terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, sampling, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and safety.

The test methods it calls up include density, atmospheric distillation, Reid and micro vapour pressure, water content, acidity, Saybolt colour, sulfur content by several methods, bromine index, trace nitrogen, organic chlorine, hydrocarbon composition by capillary gas chromatography, and nickel, vanadium, iron and sodium by flame atomic absorption.

The naphtha is mainly used as a feedstock for ethylene cracking or catalytic reforming. It was issued on 13 July 2018 and has applied since 1 February 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, sampling, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and safety requirements of coal-based Fischer-Tropsch naphtha.

This standard applies to naphtha produced by the coal-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process.

Coal-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis naphtha is mainly used for ethylene cracking feedstock or catalytic reforming feedstock.
